The proposal applies modern detailing and materials, set within and against the historic fabric, offering a striking example of rustic meets contemporary.
The client wishes to provide a premium eco-tourism offering to capture and grow the trend for UK holidaymakers to stay in the UK along with close friends and family in high quality, highly accessible, sustainable accommodation. The accommodation will take advantage of the views over the Staffordshire countryside and extensive external landscaping.
The proposal intends to create a truly unique and one of a kind offering within Staffordshire, that is fully sustainable and self-sufficient in terms of its power and energy use, by utilising numerous renewable technologies within the design and fabric of the build, including Solar PV paneling to generate its own electrical power and rainwater harvesting systems reusing water within the development.
