Works Begin at St John the Evangelist Church, Trent Vale

We’re delighted to announce that construction works have now officially started at St John the Evangelist Church in Trent Vale, marking a significant milestone in the church’s recovery following the devastating fire of April 2022.

The first phase, to replace the roof, has already been completed and now works start on the interior.

The project will not only restore the church to its role as a much loved place of worship, but also deliver a thoughtfully modernised and highly adaptable interior. The new design provides flexible worship space, enhanced kitchen and toilet facilities, a first-floor meeting room, and greatly improved accessibility throughout the building, ensuring that St John’s can better serve its congregation and wider community for generations to come.

This moment represents the beginning of an exciting new chapter for St John’s, and we are proud to see the church’s renewal now underway.
